What does it mean to you as a nurse when you hear just be?

It may mean notice the now.

It may mean relax and enjoy the present.

It may mean this shift is really hard and you need to breathe.

It may mean you just lost a patient and you just need to take a moment before you call their family.

It may mean you just experience the miracle of a life being born.

It may mean you just watched a life being saved.

Whatever it means to you take time to acknowlege it, Cherish the moments and learn from them.

All these moments in life matter to you and those you experience them with and are the gifts we get to experience because we are nurses.
