Who do you email any MDS clarification questions?

Many of you may have questions once the new MDS is put into play in October 2023. You may be confused on how to code a section. I do see in facebook groups answers being provided which can be helpful. I also see some of the answers that are incorrect. I would suggest to MDS coordinators that you reference the RAI manual when completing an assesssment as well as ICD 10 coding rules.

If the above manuals do not help you with your questions then you can always email your State RAI Coordinator.

Please see link to find out who is yours for the state that you practice in.
