
Nurses you are so busy taking care of others that often you forget to take care of you.
- Take that walk
- sit and enjoy that afternoon tea
- listen to the music and dance like no one else is watching
- Go to that yoga class
- Take time to see that favorite play or concert
- Have a spa day
- Remember to eat healthy
- Keep your doctors appointment
- Listen to your body when it is giving you signs that you need to rest
- Go to bed early
- Take your 15 minute morning break and mealbreak off the unit
- Turn off your work phone once your day is complete
- Make your family or people of choice your priority when not working
- Write in your journal
- Engage in meditation
- Do anything that brings you joy and not pain
